OUR HISTORY
Our history is unique and strongly rooted in the land.

Our Roots

The adventure began with the pizzeria “La Carovana,” which we proudly managed for over forty years. As proud natives of Montappone, we felt a strong need to revive a vital piece of local history.

Like every great project, it all starts with an ideal: to give something meaningful back to the village, the community, and the land. To breathe life into an abandoned space and create something that emanates ancient history and new stories, offering always-surprising images even in their timelessness, scents sometimes forgotten, and rediscovered flavors.

In 2010, our family, led by Dad Franco and Mom Gabriella Riccucci, purchased the medieval castle, which had been completely abandoned, located at the highest point of the village.

At that moment, the castle became, quite literally, a family affair: every member took an active role in the project, each with a specific responsibility.

An hotel and restaurant in a historic building set in the Marche countryside, a dream come true, filled with challenges to overcome.

To breathe life into an abandoned space and create something that emanates ancient history and new stories, offering always-surprising images even in their timelessness, scents sometimes forgotten, and rediscovered flavors.
